Music Center has moved to new facility at 1509 Mission
Street (across from the Dinosaur Farm toy store). Thank you to
everyone who has supported us over the last four years!
South Pasadena Music Center and Conservatory offers
high quality Lessons in the best European classical traditions,
along with cutting edge instruction in jazz, rock and modern
music. To help expand our curriculum, the Center has hired internationally
acclaimed guitarist Almer Imamovic as its artistic director.
Almer is a gifted educator who combines a rigorous dedication
to technique with an energetic and nurturing approach to teaching.
Almer has performed across the U.S. and Europe as a soloist with
symphony orchestras and chamber groups. He is also an acclaimed
world music performer, producer and recording artist.
Along with our popular private lessons
in guitar, keyboard, woodwinds, brass, drums, voice and strings,
the Center we alsonow offer exciting ensemble opportunities, including
Jazz Ensemble, Guitar Ensemble,Flute Ensemble, and Jazz/Pop Vocal
Ensemble. Classes include songwriting, theory, soundtrack
and scoring composition and jazz improvisation
